I saw this No.63 stuff the other day at an antique store near me. I'm not doubting it bring good stuff but I picked it up, saw how much they wanted for it, then set it right back down...

Sounds pretty decent to me... Especially the "brand new" WWII razors. It would be cool to see/find the type razor dad would have used back then.

Not sure what going price is but for me $20 is a little much.

Do you know if it was the shaving soap in the round puck (not balm/cream, etc)?

Oh forgot to change #3 - what I received was NOT a GOLD Black Beauty but a CHROME one. The photos made it look gold. This is one situation where that actually worked out well for me as I already had a gold one - now I have one of each :D

Hey, it LOOKED like gold in the photo in the ad...and for that price I just picked it up real quick. :)

    I guess dumb luck.

And the seller that sent me the wrong razor contacted me right away saying they'll make things right..we'll see how that will work out.

I know the cream and balm were $20.. They had soap pucks also but can't remember exactly their price. I can check next time I go.

Nah I'm with on that $20 is on the high end for soaps. It's....a soap... :)
But, someone here was asking about this soap just a few days ago and where it could be found...can't remember who now.

I received this Burma Shave handle with a TGN synthetic knot from @MoAllen! It is really nice. I really like the "retro" look of the red and cream handle. It makes fantastic lather and feels sooo nice as a face lathering brush.

Just received a phone call from a representative from Koru Naturals stating they have shipped me a replacement for the 1/2 full sandalwood I originally received. Ironically it was the day after I wrote a not so nice review on their website.

A while ago I ordered a custom resin handle from Tim at Konig Shave Designs to celebrate my heritage with the colors of the German flag. It was bored with a 25 mm knot hole at a 20 mm depth that I thought would be perfect with a 24/68 Silvertip knot I ordered at Aliexpress from Vig shaving. The knot came in and I found when I went to marry the pair that the hole wasn't wide enough. Getting out my trusty Dremel I widened the hole until the knot set juuuuusssst right. Then I married it with my handy dandy JB Clear Weld epoxy and at last see the completion of the latest brush attempt.

Nice Erskine brush! He was also one of the signers on the request to lower the brush tarriff in the 1920s. I have a NIB Erskine with a clear handle, and I'm surprised too on how well these brushes have stood the test of time.
