Well, if I were to shave today this would be the set up for St. Patrick's day. I might add the razor is German. The scales and brush handle are American made, the bristle, Italian and the soap English. BTW, the bowl is Chinese.

Ebay can be ruthless but I have also made some really good scores there. A nice Boker is on my bucket list

Caties bubbles Le Pement de La Vie - the Caties soaps are simply to die for & this one is my favorite scent ( I have 5 scents and they are all awesome)

    today I used my A Lohmann#75
it's a half inch, full hollow. made in Hamburg.
I used it on the first and third passes. my honingskill is getting a very little bit better. still a bit grabby on the first pass. smooth and singing on the third.
first pass ns, third pass sn. I'm slowly getting more comfortable maneuvering the blade over my entire face.(tuff to do with one hand)

image.jpg My first shave with a Wade & Butcher blade of any kind. Freshly honed to perfection by Mr. gssixgun, this hollow ground delivered a very smooth and very efficient shave. It's a keeper for sure.

early start tomorrow, made my shave tonight. been working with my straights( honing, stropping) a good part ofthe day. so tonight I used the spotted Emperor for the full three pass shave. not bbs, but very nice. I'm pretty pleased, it was too dull to use. I was able to get it up to shave ready.(who-rah). finished with nivea balm.hope y'all do as well, or better. 20150321_223316.jpg

    Early Sunday morning shave…
    • Böhler Stahl 'Star of David' 6/8 round point
    • MdC Fougére
    • Oscar Boar brush
    • Black River bay rum
Wonderfully-smooth pre-dawn shave using my new 'favorite' blade. I always look forward to it when this Böhler comes up in the rotation.
