    image.jpg Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3)
    Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Soap: Seifenglatt Shave Soap Barber Shop
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1956 glass AS Stopper #3

The Seifenglatt is very soft like a croup. Nice scent with a hint of liquorice not too strong. Lathers up well with the Silvertip. WTG XTG on my face and neck on 5. ATG on my neck on 3. Nice and slick and with my FB on 3 for my neck I can buff a little on the hard to get to spots for a very nice smooth shave. The vintage OS from my oldest bottle was very nice. I had just picked this one up, and it did not disappoint.
Lazy Sunday morning music, and off to Brunch.

    Sunday:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Grass Stain Menthol Snow
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (4)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (10, 11, 12)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock One-X AS balm
Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron

Took the day off from shaving yesterday to let the weeper on my throat heal, and wouldn't you know it, I opened it right back up again on the 3rd pass today. Every day, the lather is getting a bit trickier to build as the puck becomes more diminished, which may have contributed, but I think the blade played the largest part today. The DFS shave I got is not worth weepers near the jugular, so I'll be loading up a fresh Bic for tomorrow.

    Soap - MdC Fougere
    Brush - WD Silvertip 24/50
    Razor - Rockwell 6S (#5)
    Blade - Personna 74* (12)
AS - Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

Another fantastic shave. I was going to use my Rockwell for April focus...but I don't see why now, I dialed that in within 4 shaves and have had nothing but DFS and BBS since....The 74* blade is slightly showing signs of use, not as smooth as earlier shaves but I would say at 12 shaves probably where an Astra SP or Ladas is after 2....still very comfortable. based on that probably looking at projected 18 shaves with it...we shall see.

March Focus - Vintage and Carbon
    March 22, 2015 - Week 4 Day 1
Prep - Hot shower and towel
    Brush - VDH Boar
    Soap - Arko
Razor - 1918 Old Style Gillette
    Blade - treet-classic-carbon.jpg (1)
Post - RazoRock Alum & The Mighty Veg!

Day one on the 1918 and Classic carbon. This is the razor I started the 30 day rule on in January - and abandoned for the Aristocrat after seriously butchering myself. Over two months of technique work through the rule and blade trials paid off! This was an awesome shave today. The '18 is an aggressive little beast and adding the carbon blade did nothing to tame it. Great audio and tactile feedback, and three passes made the baby cry and put him to bed. A really fun shave with only one minor weeper that appeared after the XTG and disappeared never to be seen again.

The alum was LOUD as expected and the Veg just brought it to SCREAMING loud but that just added to the day! Great fun shave. Now, let's see how many days this blade can go.

It's an expensive perk, but they also hold my shave mug and brush at the ready as I shave.

To me, the MITA soap kicks Proraso Green in the butt where menthol cooling is concerned and even in the skincare department. I never tried Absolute Zero, so I can't say anything about it. :)

    SUNDAY SOTD: 3/22/15

    PREP: Long, hot shower :bath:
RAZOR: NEW Short Comb, Bar Handle
    BLADE: Astra SP
    BRUSH: Omega 10049
    SOAP: Prograso Green:smiley freezing:
AS: Dollar General 'Classic' (Talk about cheap aftershave! But it smells nice) :D

Haven't used my SC for a while and I now remember that I like it MUCH better than the LC.:happy088: A very easy-to-use razor, easy to find the correct angle, easy to handle, just plain easy.

OK, since it's up to me to decide, I declare this shave a BBS. :happy036:
Didn't have to "chase" the baby at all, that little sucker came right over and quietly succumbed to my shaving prowess! (Talk about being modest!) ;):happy108:

Did you know where you accountant is? He's working hard, send him some love! (or better yet, send him some money!):happy102:

I finally got the Fatboy figured out.
Second day in a row with it dialed to 8 with an Astra blade.
    Proraso Green pre-shave
    Proraso Green cream
I finally have the elusive BBS with the Fatboy

It took me a while, too, but now I do my first WTG pass on 9 and drop back to 5 or 6 to finish. Have fun with it!

Spot on! So far, I really like the MITA, and after six hours, the scent is still there but very subtle. For $7 and $12 for the soap and AS, respectively, it's a great value!

The Absolute Zero soap and AS is very good and I'd recommend without hesitation. It's a glycerin soap that whips up a nice lather and made my eyes water on a number of occasions. The skincare is as good as anything I've tried. My only complaint with Wm Neumann products is that they are a bit more expensive than most... But they are worth it.
