That's something else I've thought of. I really like the sound of legacy and heritage but they sound more like lines of product instead of a store to me. If I went with tweed life, then it would be something like this. The Heritage Collection, by Tweed Life. A wallet featuring 9 pockets, rugged tweed wool and satin lining materials, and hand stitching. I don't know. So confusing!
The Legacy Collection by Tweed Life. A crossbody messenger bag, upcycled from sturdy tweed wool coat. Hand stitched, finished with satin lining, original John Weitz garment tag, and hand embroidered logo. Features include 2 exterior flap pockets, a large zippered compartment, small cell phone pocket, and small zippered pocket on interior.
I kind of like Life more than Living, the more I think about it. Living seems to convey more of like a home type of product. Think Martha Stewart Living. Bedding, kitchen stuff, furniture etc. Whereas Life refers to a lifestyle. Like I love Tweed and this is my lifestyle! Tweed everything! Lol Thanks to those who gave their opinions. Good stuff.
+1 Denver hipsters would trade their last tallboy of PBR just to find out how to get one. Add Brooklyn to your list and you got it. Edit: if you are new to thread, I own two of Tim's bags and live in CO. No hating going on...
How about something completely different and go for a 0ne-word name as the overall company name - that's a bit quirky, unique but still eludes to what the product is - and allows you to create a logo that ties into the company name? Something that (and excuse my VERY limited photoshop skills) plays on the popular Herrinbone pattern; *Image of sample fish grabbed from online Or combine Tweet and Upcycling and call your business "UpTweed"
Tim, You make some really unique and inspiring bags and wallets! Very nice work! I think you have some great names here to choose from. Here is something else to consider. One thing that sells a product to me is the story behind it. I'm a sucker for brands that paint a picture in my mind of how the product is used and has actually stood the test of time. I'm willing to pay more for good quality, so I like to know how products are built and what they can withstand. To me, that's even more important than the product name, and I realize that often involves clever marketing. An example that comes to mind is Saddleback Leather. Just my two cents, and I know you'll get many different opinions here. I eagerly await to hear which name you decide to use.
Why has this not been discussed more? I say winner winner chicken dinner! mmmm...food.... Seriously though it does sound nice
