Feeling great! The work week is over! My daughters and I are going to visit a few antique shops and have dinner in Milwaukee.
I have realized an unexpected benefit to now needing reading glasses... I'm getting way more "at home" exercise. How you ask? By touring the house trying to figure out where my damn glasses are. #bonus
They are doing a swallow test today, and considering the option of a permanent feeding tube. In other news, came in to a downed printer server this morning! yay! It's also the server that hosts our online state mandated testing that begins next week. And part of our retention software. Joy of joys! I'm seriously doubting my meds' effectiveness any more. I really just want to crawl into bed and hide.
Sending some positive waves your way my man. Keep your head up life's too short not to find happiness throughout the day.
Feeling overworked - thats what you get for trying to finish a degree and work full time, but on the plus side I just had the greatest shave which has made me feel great. Also saddened to learn my local bowling alley is closing in a few months meaning I will now have to travel 30 minutes to the nearest lanes
Haha true it is a shame though as the town where said alley is located has little in the way of leisure - I have been visiting that alley since I was 10 years old and weekly for the last year so it is a loss to the town and to the few of us that still regularly use it.
Hang in there, buddy! I know where you are. Prayers heading your way. This silly song helps me often.
I had an MRI of my right knee today. It's been bothering me more than it should, even allowing for the arthritis. I may need surgery. (More on that in about a week.) On the bright side, my stuffed hippo, Waldo kept me company during the test. Tests are so much easier to take, when you have your hippo.
I get to take my new spectacle frames into the optician to have new lenses put in. It seems that they thought I needed to tilt my head forward in order to see long distances (beyond 3 feet). Sad thing, this is the second pair that they've done this to. If I can only remember in 2 years...
The only good thing from today is I'm not going to drink even though I could really use it Lol baby steps I tell myself....but people can be a real pain
