A very fine shave with the PAL. I had a bit more time than I did the other day and rewarded myself with a nice close shave.

 

03/26 – The Croma started to snag more so it’s done after 10 uses. Great blade and pretty cheap on Amazon so I might pick some up. This was the first use of my refurbished 102 brush and it face lathered Tabac like a champ. And boy what a bloomer. A very enjoyable BBS.

I liked the Sputnik a lot on day one. Very sharp but also very smooth - no irritation. - 2 pass + a few touchups for fine work day shave.

I haven't used a Mama Bear soap in many moons and I think it's time for me to show my Lemon Ice some love. It smells nice with great lather and it's not bad at all in the cooling department - in fact it gives a pretty good menthol punch. The skincare is a bit lacking compared to my Glacials, but I've seen worse. The Gold Bond moisturizer will take care of me very well that way, and the Proraso Green aftershave is delightful.

Actually that Old Spice looks like a 1980s Shulton bottle, name above the ship, with stopper #4, it has the star on top. Just saying. Or did you refill the bottle? That is a nice bottle!

Another great shave today. I'm impressed with the Super-Max Platinum. Cheaper than the Super Platinum and seems to perform just as well for me. Very little irritation, great DFS in three quick passes. Perfect for my first long day of the week. I'll probably change out to a different blade tomorrow just to keep trying a few new ones before April starts.

I received my first Saint Charles Shave soap today in the mail. Kind of ironic that I mail order it from 20 miles away. LOL I got the Sandalwood in a wooden bowl and they sent a sample of Bay Rum soap. Both have great scents. The Bay Rum is strong! I'll be trying the Sandalwood tomorrow.

Today's shave was very good but it required some effort because my Sharp blade appears to be winding down. I still think it'll be ok for the weekend, but if necessary I'll change it. The Mama Bear Lemon Ice soap definitely doesn't have the skincare that a Glacial soap has, although it's still fairly decent. Its cooling effect is very pleasant.

today's shave was nice. I'm lovin' the commander series this week, it's very nice soap. three passes of the hammer, smooth as silk. second shave with Ladas, very impressed. finished with iced atomized Florida water.
