another great shave (BBS)...1st time using my scuttle and it worked great, kept my lather warm the whole shave and is half the size of my other one...really like the metal "bowl" and think that is the way to go.

 

March 26 (late post)

Had another near-BBS 3 pass shave with the Merkur 37C, Omega boar brush, and Stirling unscented soap. I'm really glad I spent this past month learning how to get the most out of a boar brush and the Stirling soap. I could stick with this set-up indefinitely, but I'm going to experiment with Arko in April, mainly to satisfy my curiosity.

Today's shave was very good but it required some effort because my Sharp blade appears to be winding down. I still think it'll be ok for the weekend, but if necessary I'll change it. The Mama Bear Lemon Ice soap definitely doesn't have the skincare that a Glacial soap has, although it's still fairly decent. Its cooling effect is very pleasant.

today's shave was nice. I'm lovin' the commander series this week, it's very nice soap. three passes of the hammer, smooth as silk. second shave with Ladas, very impressed. finished with iced atomized Florida water.

Pretty good DFS 3 pass shave this morning. Still trying to figure out the razor in my normal problem spots. Looking forward to getting the PETE coated blades in early next week. Happy Friday.

Mistero today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 brush. Great, easy, thick, lather. I loaded a new Gillette 7 O’Clock Blue SP in the Slim. Outstanding smooth, close, shave! I finished CC Sweet Water.

Same as yesterday, right down to shaving at 0100 hours. Was able to take my time a bit more today. Very good 2 pass shave.

 

FRIDAY
Broke out the neglected Red Imp the morning. Really a fine razor, but the intimidating spike point always has me reaching for another razor.
This shouldn't dissuade me as this big Imp is a truly a great,smooth shaver!
