    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash, sandalwood bar soap

Soap/cream- The shave den Pumpkin harvest lanolin shaving soap

    Brush- Whipped dog 24mm silvertip

    Razor- Merkur 37c

    Blade- Rapira super stainless(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, mentholated Pinaud Clubman original aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive aftershave balm

I'm getting to the bottom of my Nivea sensitive aftershave balm. I got a replacement for it, the Nivea sensitive cooling ASB. Which I'm looking forward to use.

TSD soap Pumpin harvest smells sooooooooo good! I love it. I keep going for the container and smelling it, if someone saw me they would think I'm OCD or something. I need to use a little more soap for a little thicker lather but It did protect me and I got a good shave!

Rapira held its own on the second shave. I'm gonna use up the whole tuck before giving the final verdict =P but it's looking good so far.

Prep: Warm wash and cornhusker's lotion
Lather: St. James of London Mandarin & Patchouli
    Brush: TGN synthetic
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: SuperMax Titanium
Post: Cool rinse and Ogallala Bay Rum

I changed soap and blade brand today. I've used the St. James cream before and it was just fine. It makes a rich and creamy lather with plenty of slickness. The TGN knot whipped it out pretty quickly. The SuperMax blade was fine. Shave didn't feel that close initially, but within 15 minutes, I think it is near BBS. I smell good too!

Well, my Sharp blade is still hanging in there and it gave me a very smooth, close, and respectable shave. This Permafrost Blue stick is very easy to lather and it's cooling to about the same level as Iced Subzero soap. The skincare is also quite good. It left me with a very comfortable feeling.

    Excellent Shave
I welcomed der Vorschlaghammer back today with RPTD and CF Sherlock. The soap is exemplary in performance with a very classy scent. I've neglected it too long. I was a bit worried that Sherlock would chastise me for lapses in technique, but the burn was only a hint that was quickly cooled by the menthol. Sherlock and Test Depth work nicely together, but I may pick up the matching aftershave at some point.

Unfortunately I have to save this setup for tomorrow (skip today). I tried a test lather of my Ian S Cinnamon Girl last night after reading a couple guys talking about it here yesterday. I face had a reaction to it immediately with irration, redness and now broke out in a rash this morning. I will likely be running another PIF to get this stuff out of my house.....

    Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Pre shave: Tree Hut Shea Mango
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Neutrogena balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1973 - 1975 Lantern Decanter AS
I picked the Merkur 34c HD to try out the Rapira blade. One of the blades I won in a generous PIF from @NCoxSTL. Thanks again Neal! Loaded one up and checked the alignment and was good to go for my first pass WTG. First pass was OK no tugging. A little rinse to see how we are doing and relather for a XTG pass on my face and ATG on my neck. Need a third pass to finish up as there is a lot left. Some more lather for touch up on my neck and we are done. I could do some more buffing but I can feel some burn already. Should have stopped at 2 passes. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and I needed it. After cleanup some Neutrogena Balm, then some Vintage Old Spice. The blade was ok, shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but I would not replace my Feathers. Glad I tried them. It was a little rough boy, take it away Billy!
