April started out right! My "N" mug from @Shotwell arrived today. It will be featured in tomorrow's SOTD and pretty much every day after that. Perfect size for soaking brushes and bowl/mug lathering. Awesome PIF! Thanks again.

Jurgen Hempel Handle



Surprise, surprise! It only fit my RazoRock Baby Smooth razor. Looks pretty good!

No. It didn't. But I'm glad it fit something. I believe the Hempel handles may have been made for the Mongoose Razor.

Your handle looks fantastic. My Hempel Titanium fits on my New LC as well as the Mongoose.

Today's arrivals. First is a 1928 New Improved, judging from no serial number and a 1920 patent. It appears to be the wrong box but it is in good condition.

Second is a 1941 Ranger Tech in like new condition. I'm excited about this one!

The New Improved is nice but in my book the real price here is that near-mint '41 Ranger Tech in box!
Amazing condition and I'm telling you - you're in for a treat shaving with this one.
I'd easily rate it amongst the top 2-3 Gillette razors that I've ever tried.

Wood box for my Gillette New LC it's for a Gillette Big Boy but it's the correct period. Also a Gillette New SC "Red & Black".

I just bought a New Improved in that red and black case (see above). I am going to move my New SC with the common bar handle to it and we will have matching sets

It's a great thing that there is not an ounce of OCD-tendencies w/in collecting
