No website but they do have a Face Book page/group. New information and updates are posted as pinned posts at the top of the page. It's a pain for those not on Face Book.
Just went on their Facebook page and I saw they are developing a razor that uses injector blades I have never used an injector razor myself, but it sounds like an interesting project. Though they did say it's a low priority at the moment.
Great stuff! The lighter aluminum does nothing for me but man, if the OC SE is coming out I want one!
I wanted to clear up any confusion I might have caused. If you want to order a Mongoose SB razor you can send an email to mongooseorders@gmail.com. They have not announced the when the upcoming new models, ie OC, aluminum, titanium, etc, will be available to order. They will post to their face book page when they are accepting orders. I will post here when they post. I know I waiting on the OC base plate to become available.
Not on the OC specifically. The only thing I have read is that the regular Mongoose will be available in both the satin and polished finish. The polished finish will cost more due to the increased labor. Just my guess but I would think it will be made in one of the finishes above. They have also indicated that they will no longer be producing the larger handle since they vast majority of people did not order one. I have one and it's huge at 150 grams. They have been testing different coatings for the aluminum finish. There stated goal is to first ramp up production on the regular Mongoose before moving to the different variants.
Judging from past experience how long from the time you send an email and are put on the list, will you actually have a razor in hand?
I got on the list for Batch 2 in the beginning of October and had the razor in hand on 12/31/14. Would have been a week sooner but a shipping mix up led to me getting the handles with no razor head.
