    SDK it's his fault

Very generous and a beautiful razor. :happy088:

I have recently acquired 4 Injectors, two of which are still in the mail. I will get some pics up as soon as they are all in my possession. I am super excited and really enjoying the shaves so far...

@clint64 ...There is no rush my friend, seriously. Take your time and try them all. I'm not in a hurry, and have plenty of gear to continue. I actually won a PIF on another forum and picked up another GEM 1912 as well as another injector. So the karma came back...lol.

If you are sure, then I will run thru 3 of them one more time with the SS blades. The MMOC is a little intimidating so I am still not sure of that one. ;)

@clint64 ... no problem at all. I also prefer the SS blades. They should perform better on round 2.

I feel the same way about the MMOC...lol

Congrats to all concerned...Sounds like another set of whiskers won over to the sharp-side.....Just be sure to lay the head flat on your skin and then just increase the angle a tad and listen for the sound of whiskers getting cut...I usually just use like a two finger hold and let the weight of the razor do all the work...The micromatic holds the blade in the perfect angle for shearing whiskers...

    Sage advise.

The Gem MMOC and Clog Pruf are both great razors...if respected. My only downside to using either of them is the dearth of blade selection for them. Luckily, the Gem Blue Star and its generic cousins from CVS work smoothly for me.

By the way, the finish on that Star is custom. I threw it in the media tumbler with a batch of .45ACP overnight. Again, enjoy it.

Very good 3 pass shave this morning. Not as smooth as yesterday's shave with the 1912. This razor just seems a bit more aggressive or harsh. Overall pretty pleased with the shave. So far I prefer the 1912 and the Feather Weight over the 1924.

It looks great. But do I now need a "concealed carry" permit if I take it with me? LOL

@clint64 when you're done I don't expect all of the razors back. I want you to keep your favorites.

I know I have a few razors that hold a special place in my heart, because of the spirit they were given to me, from my dear friends and fellow Denizens....and you know who you are....

Beautiful Example of the Breed...I confess, I've been smitten by the 1924 since first shave...I was expecting to like it, but it knocked me out, and stole my heart and whiskers...}8^))

Very good 3 pass shave this morning. Still learning the angles around my trouble spots. With more use of the GEM razors, I am getting better at the angles. If not for those areas the shave would have been a borderline BBS shave.

I got a little careless yesterday with my G Bar and nicked my nose. I hate when that happens.

I can see how that can happen very easily. Given I don't get careless and pay attention, I think I'll have it down shortly.

It's funny.....I shave regularly with much more aggressive razors like the OCMM, and ER1924 and I like never get even a weeper, but the lowly 'G'-bar? Although known for it's mild and non-agressive nature, I always draw at least a few weepers or a ful-blown nick with the HFT....Could it be it lulls us into not paying attention, or; underneath it's "Tree-hugging" 'left-wing' "mild mannered" exterior does this pacifist of a razor actually have a well concealed "Attitude"? I've cut myself with mine so often, I've quit using it and demure to much safer bets like the ER1924 and Open-Comb Micromatic....};^))

But aside from drawing blood EVERYTIME I've used it....It has always reminded me of the Feather Weight in it's mildly non-agressive approach....Ex.: I always need an extra pass or two, to approach the results I get with most of my other SE's (although; in all fairness; the FW has never even hinted at leaving irritation in her wake)....Maybe I need to apply the 30 day rule to un-lock the "Magic" of this famous charmer....But, at this point thats not gonna happen....I love my Ever Readys too much....But she sure is a looker....
