Good, bad, or indifferent. This will be on its way to me. (I justify the cost(with shipping) because it has what looks to be a good handle on the brush)
Rose Essential oil Mysore Sandalwood Essential oil (boy, is that expensive) A few drops of either in the lather really brightens my day.
I thought this was a good time to buy my first full-sized, glass bottle of Myrsol. Ordered this one as it seems..interesting:
I've been considering ordering as well. Having a hard time deciding on which one to get. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this.
So why Plastic shave? From a Myrsol user in the referenced thread: "Plastic shave: First thought that comes to mind when you use it: WHAT A DISGUSTING SCENT! It gave me nauseas in the first few days, but it suddenly starts to grow on you. Fortunately, the scent fades away very quickly. I enjoy the post shave feel and the "plastic" effect. I recommend it if you can hold your breath for 20-30 seconds after applying it." "It gave me nauseas in the first few days, but it suddenly starts to grow on you."—this is the same effect working on a cattle feedlot has on people. The nose gets acclimated.
Looks like a Burma Shave brush. They're great brushes considering they're "cheap". That was my first brush ever and I still have and use it some 17 years later! Well worth buying.
It gets quite a range of reviews and feeling online - some find the scent objectionable in the beginning but slowly fall in love with it. Some like it right away. Some hate it. Most people tend to agree that the effect on your skin is quite extraordinary. Another I am really interested in is the Emulsion.
This months Wet Shave Club box. I can hardly contain my anticipation to try Smolder from The Blades Grim!!! Also waiting on a shipment from Stirling. Vanilla Sandalwood bath soap and shaving soap! Cant wait for it. I like Sandalwood and the lil lady keeps asking when I'm going to get something Vanilla scented; so we compromised. lol
I'm waiting on a wilkinson sword classic razor. I like the looks of it (I know that's not much of a reason to buy a razor). I do lean toward mild razors and I love finding inexpensive products that work, I hope this razor does the job. It's shipping from the UK so I wont see if for 4-6 weeks.
"It is named Plastic because it has keratoplastic effect" Keratoplastic: promoting the production of keratin. Keratin: any of a family of scleroproteins that are the main constituents of epidermis, hair, nails, and tissues. The high-sulfur keratin polypeptides of ectodermally derived structures, e.g., hair and nails, are also called hard k's.
