This razor, I think, has cured me of the nagging case of RAD I had developed. Unless I take the leap into straights, I'm pretty sure that my DE buying days have come to an end. Strange feeling and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette Fatboy razor and a Sputnik Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I decided to revisit the Feather blades. Had a very nice and comfortable 2 pass (XTG & ATG) shave with some touch ups.

This week, I'm using Arko as a shave stick and lathering with a boar brush. I had enough yogurt-consistency lather today for two passes plus touch-ups simply by using more soap, working it longer, and adding plenty of water. I haven't heard of anyone using glycerin in their Arko lather, but I think it makes it perform even better!
