    Prep: warm wash
Lather: St. James Mandarin & Patchouli
    Brush: TGN synthetic
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: SuperMax Stainless Sunshine
    Post: CC Cat

After the warm wash, I went with cold water for the rest of the shave. Hmmm, 2 passes, clean neck and the CC Cat didn't sting or burn at all. Gonna have to try it again tomorrow.

    Gem OCMM razor
    Gem Stainless blade
    Schick G1 razor
    Personna blade
    Williams SS (modern stuff)
    FS Finest brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel/Sage mix
    M&L Florida Water Cologne

Started with the OCMM/Gem and got nowhere. Seems when these blades die, it happens really quick. Picked up the G1 and ended up with a fine shave but that blade is done too. New combo tomorrow fer sure. BTW, really like Williams.

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: GEM Push Button, Friodur Inox straight razor
Blade: GEM PTFE coated SE blade (1)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
Soap: WSP - Black Amber Vanilla
    After: Home made ASB
Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme

A Darn Fine Shave on hump day. The Vie Long brush whipped the Black Amber Vanilla soap into a great lather. The GEM and the Friodur worked their magic and the Prada will have me smelling great all day long.

    Have a blessed day!

Blade – GEM SS PTFE (4)
Brush – Brothers Bristles with WD HM
    Lather – Soap Commander Passion
Post - Witch Hazel and CC Bay Rum AS

Very good 3 pass shave this morning achieving a near BBS if not a couple of trouble spots. While not a bay rum soap, the Soap Commander Passion matches great with the Captain's Choice Bay Rum AS.

    Musgo real
    Parker best badger
    2011 Muhle R41 (Personna blue)
    Cold water/alum
    Captain's Choice Lime

Today would have been another superb shave courtesy of Sir Muhle (that's right it's been knighted) except I was a dumbass and cut myself by committing the grievous error of letting the razor slide vertically for just a microsecond rather than horizontally in the direction of the shave. The cut was minor and the alum closed it off perfectly, but shows just how a minor lapse and technique/concentration can result in blood. Nevertheless, the rest of the shave was just as smooth and irritation free as I've come to expect from this razor.

Happy Wednesday everyone… And happy shaving!

    Odin's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Grapefruit Mint Glycerin-in-a-jar
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (4, 5, 6)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS splash
Cologne: Aoud Forest by Montale (sample)

Back-to-back BBS shaves Sunday and Monday left me without much need to shave Tuesday, so I skipped that day. This morning, the Grapefruit Mint whipped up into amazing lather with the Simpson brush, with the RAKE/Bic combo performing as well on its second day as on its first. I had a minuscule weeper on my upper lip from the ATG pass, but that was due to too much buffing on my part. Another BBS shave today, without any discomfort.

    Aggressive April - Day 5

Prep: Hot shower w/ Grandpa's Pine Tar
Soap: TSD Barber Shoppe shave stick
    Brush: Omega 13522
    Razor: Cadet OC
    Blade: Astra SP
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Tommy Bahama Very Cool

Good 2 pass, WTG & XTG shave. Again some irritation at first but subsided quickly. Chin seems to be a big issue, can't really buff with the Cadet without regretting it.
