I like the aroma and dont think it is very strong so it works for me but having too many soaps come in lately I have decided to let most go and just use/keep a couple of them.

Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Armani Mania cologne
Early post as my power is going out early today. So I will whip up the TOBS in my favorite mug. The Pearl gives a nice shave, and I'm just addicted to the Gillette Adjustables. WTG XTG on my face an neck on 5 ATG on my neck on 3. A little spray of Armani Mania cologne, and I can set back and wait for my power to go out for scheduled maintenance ( estimated 4-6 hours) or....

Today was my first use of the Chiseled Face. I did a face lather, and it came out great. Nice and slick. The scent has notes of tobacco and dirt, very earthy and pleasing.

Well, my friends - I survived this freakish menthol blitz and I'm still in one piece. The Cryogen soap is fantastic. I swear that it's definitely the coldest shaving item ever invented. I'll admit that the Glacials run a very close second, however. I had a most enjoyable shave and I ended up BBS with no hassles whatsoever. :)

Working on a short focus of cold water shaving. I modify a little by washing with warm water and soaking my brush with warm water, but then use cold water the rest of the way through including adding cold water to the cream as I whip it up. Day 2 was as good as day 1. 2 passes and BFS.

Taking a day to let everything recover from yesterday's cut with the CJB. Decided to try out the recently acquired Soviet razor. Put in a Sputnik for that total Russian shave and made a pass. Not horrible but one nick under the chin. The blade gap isn't exactly even across this thing, and it's different on each side. Typical Soviet engineering specs. Did a second pass with my Superspeed and Voskhod just to avoid further problems and called it good. Barely DFS but it works for today.

Went 2 pass XTG and ATG today. I thought I was already at the best angle for the Cadet, and found by happy accident that I needed to go quite a bit shallower. I think my shaves with it should improve immensely over the next few days.

A fantastic shave was had last night. First shave with a Baili super stainless platinum blade.
Here is the gear that was used.

    Merkur 25c razor
    Baili Super stainless platinum blade.
    Arko shave stick.
    Omega 10049 brush
    Gabel's sta-cool aftershave.

2 passes with touch up. Result a DFS bordering on BBS. The first pass I felt a little bit of tugging but it smoothed toward the end of the first pass and was smooth on the second.

The 25c is my current favorite razor. Mild and comfortable but efficient. I will be interested to see how the baili blade performs in other razors. The 25c seems to work well with any blade I use.
