Just for fun this morning I measured the 'stache. Unfurled - over half a foot from tip to tip! ("Over half a foot" sounds much more impressive than 6-1/2 inches ). All waxed up and looking stylish, 5 inches tip to tip.
Started my applications process to work on an Associates Degree in Web Technologies. Never finished my degree back in the day since my job didn't require it, and I learned more working than I could in a class. That was my life for the last 19 years. But, as life has changed, and I got a different job last year, I want to diversify my skill set. So now I'm adding in the Web stuff to my Graphic Design skills and we'll see where that take me... Thankfully I can do it all online.

We just drove 425 miles home for a funeral. I could use prayers that I can tolerate my mother and mother in law, and that my brother and I don't get into another very public, very loud fight about what a terrible Christian I am. (Some of you will catch the irony in that )

Yesterday was my youngest son's first track meet ever and the long jump was his first event. I ran the rake for the pit and my wife was watching for scratches. 3 events later, we took a very tired and hungry 6th grader out for dinner and ice cream. Gonna have to work on getting a little color onto that fishbelly white looking kid.
In Last Month's Thread I posted something about possibly moving to the SF bay area. Not much moved with that since I've been waiting for some other things to happen here before I could make any decisions. Yesterday I was speaking to a recruiter for a start up about a job they had here in Portland, and this morning I got an email from them saying it was too bad that I wasn't living in SF because they had a position that I'd be perfect for. Hmmm....
