My shave went very well with the Sharp blade although it started to struggle a little in the neck area and on both cheeks during the second pass. It still performed honourably and earned its retirement. The Palmolive Menthol cream is so enjoyable - nowhere nearly as bone-chillingly cold as a Glacial soap or the "Killer Cryogen" but it's still damned cold and awesome. I was thinking of my dear friend Ryan this morning while I was shaving, because I know he loves this cream as much as I do!

 

OMG I thought all those monkeys were in captivity. One musta got out. Have a cold day!

 

Cool looking razor! Never heard of a CAVA!

Took my time and enjoyed a fantastic 3 pass BBS shave this morning. I really like this soap. It's very slick and has a very nice scent. Not sure how it happened but this is the only tallow based soap I have at the moment. I'll need to correct that problem shortly.

Nice shave this morning. I ended up giving away my favorite brush to a coworker so I'm trying a wood handled brush made to the same specs as my old favorite. Have a good one.

 

I used LPL today, which is one of my favorites because of the cushioning of the lather. I am almost done with a pack of the Rapira Swedish blades. IMHO, they are just a touch smoother as well as a touch less likely to nick than the Rapira Stainless Chrome or the Rapira Platinum Lux. 3 passes

Back with the Gillette New LC again, and I'm looking forward to another good shave with it. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Looks good and I'm really liking the longer comb. The Ever-Ready badger whipped up a thick warm lather from the Castle in the OS Mug. First pass WTG was very close, and the razor sang a nice tune. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Vintage Shulton Old Spice Lime. Very nice razor, great feedback and it's nice going Old School.....
