1. I got new shooting glasses yesterday. They are tinted blue, which makes it easier to see the yellow ring of the target face. It's really helpful at longer distances, where the center is harder to see. Plus, they have a little bifocal inset, so I can read a scorecard. Pics later.

  2. Make sense to me. Sounds like a smart purchase. I had shooting glasses once, they had a yellowish ting to them. Good luck. Okay, okay, I had a compound bow years ago.

  3. Did you use the yellow glasses for indoor shooting, outdoor shooting or both?

  4. Outdoor shooting. Never shot indoors. Really didn't enjoy shooting at anything that didn't shoot back.
  5. So you usually shoot at each other??

  6. After three years in Vietnam being shot at, I didn't find much excitement in shooting at targets. That's just me I guess. All is good.:happy088::happy088:

  7. Here I am in my new shooting glasses. I don't think you can see it in the picture, but they have custom bifocal insets (which come in handy, for reading score cards at meets.)

  13. We just got back from a trip to Lancaster Archery. This place is to archery what Pasteur Pharmacy is to shaving...one big toy store! Got the hubby a new release & I had a chance to test the shooting glasses indoors. He loves the thumb release & my glasses work as well indoors as outdoors. (I had been concerned that they might be too dark.)

  14. I'm so excited! I am getting a new bow. It's a Hoyt target bow, which can be hard to get. (Wait time on orders can be 2-3 months.) As luck would have it, I came upon a barely used lefty for sale at a pro shop in PA. These bows are super-fast and great for competitions.
