1) I get my least irritation with a straight razor 2) As much as I like AOS shave soap and Williams I get most of my irritation after using them. 3) After receiving my Wostenholm from Kevin I do believe my Wosties give me the most comfortable shave. 4) Unfortunately I have learned no matter my face prep my PSO or my choice of blade, razor or straight or soap my neck will always end up with red irritated areas. 5) I really enjoy a freshly shaven face and using my own homemade shaving products.
That my late 48'-50' Superspeed is a great razor. Similar to my Aristocrat and better than my other Gillettes, other than the FB.
I learned that even with preshave oil and a great lather, I can still go Edward scissor hands on my face.
Gentlemen, from my last shave... I learned little, successfully sustaining my ignorance level right where it started before the shave.
Learned that the smell of Noczema (Preshave) is pretty awful - too medicinal but gives a shave as smooth as Tom Selleck in Leather Pants.
I've learned that if I leave my shaving brush unattended my baby kitten (she's a year and a half) will take my brush and eat it. Thankfully I've caught her before she could do any damage.
