Here is my side of the bathroom, left of the sink.... and my April low cost, great shave team.... my $5 Wilkinson Sword brush, my arko in it's ziplock container, and my $7 1966 superspeed, along with the supporting cast in the backround. Day five on the Lord blade, and another superb shave (DFS++) on my first day off.

    Aggressive April - Day 14 (4/22/15)

    Prep: Hot shower
Soap: TSD Barber Shoppe shave stick
    Brush: Omega 13522
    Razor: Cadet OC
    Blade: Ladas
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm

First time using the Ladas blades. Great 2 pass WTG & XTG shave. Just about out of the TSD shave stick. Might continue with the sample of Stirling Barber Shop I got from @WhiskerWhacker.

    Razor: Bluebeards Revenge
    Blade: Wilkinson Black (Day 6)
Brush: WD Marble Handle Silvertip, 24/67
    Cream: Bluebeards Revenge
    A/S: Lucky Tiger

Day 18- I've been experimenting with PSO, a day on and a day off. In general I like the PSO, however, I seem to get a much better lather when I don't us PSO. Could be me. I would like to know if anyone else has had the same experience. Perhaps to much PSO, or not enough. Good shave tonight. Rained here today so I cleaned most of my shave gear today. Chance of snow tonight and some tomorrow. :Animatedfrozensmily:

Traveling for business challenges my focus. This is really more of a shave of the day more than my April focus.
    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Merkur travel razor
    Blade: 7 o'clock yellow
    Soap: c.o. Bigelow
Passes: 3 with some clean up
Post: tsd post shave milk and proaso aloe and vitamin e

After yesterday's butchering of my chin and neck, I was a bit nervous for today's shave. I must have gone to aggressive with the ikon yesterday. Went to a cold water shave today and focused on a nice controlled pass each time and settled for a dfs.

Post - Witch Hazel and Myrsol Blue Sample

Very good 3 pass work morning shave this morning. Really had the baby scared with this shave ;) This soap is very slick. Finished up with a splash of witch hazel followed by Myrsol Blue sample. I like the Myrsol Blue but wish it had more of a menthol hit. Overall I think, I prefer the Myrsol F/Extra out of the ones I have tried thus far. Hope everyone has a great day.

    April 23, 2015 - Week 4 Day 5
Prep - Hot shower and towel
    Brush - Omega Pro 48
    Soap - Arko
    Razor - CJB
    Blade - [IMG](5)
Post - Alum, Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Shortcut shave this morning since I stayed in bed a bit too long. One good pass with the CJB. My first pass is going very well at this point. No issues and it felt quite comfortable. Grabbed the SS and threw in a Super Max Platinum to finish up good enough to get out the door on time. Just one of those days!

Today's shave could have been a lot better but in the context of things it was fantastic. My cheeks for the most part are bbs and parts of my neck are really nice as well. The success I believe came from trying different grips on the straight razor and getting a little more confidence with it. Prep was the same a really nice hot shower which I used a facial scrub at the end. Let my brush soak in hot water while in the shower so it was nice and warm when I went to load up lather. I grabbed some caties bubbles irish coffee which I haven't used in awhile which smelt amazing but I ended up using to much water to load with so the lather was a bit disapointing. Three pass shave and for the first time I didn't clean up with my DE after because I felt it was an acceptable shave plus I want to get off that crutch.
