today's shave was nice. seems like I always get good from soap commander. the hammer gave me a very nice three pass shave. finished with score balm and a touch of macho.

Very good 3 pass work morning shave this morning. Really had the baby scared with this shave This soap is very slick. Finished up with a splash of witch hazel followed by Myrsol Blue sample. I like the Myrsol Blue but wish it had more of a menthol hit. Overall I think, I prefer the Myrsol F/Extra out of the ones I have tried thus far. Hope everyone has a great day.

Shortcut shave this morning since I stayed in bed a bit too long. One good pass with the CJB. My first pass is going very well at this point. No issues and it felt quite comfortable. Grabbed the SS and threw in a Super Max Platinum to finish up good enough to get out the door on time. Just one of those days!

 

Great set up. Which is your favorite Folsom & Co. aftershave?

 

Thanks! All of them gosh Clint. All five are so different from each other, Shambla would be my favorite, with Muir right behind. You won't go wrong with Capri, Black Powder or Shady Past.

 

Still face lathering, today with a combo of MDC and TOBS Rose. 3 passes, extremely smooth, but a nasty cut on my lower lip due to thinking about things other than shaving.

CC La Habana today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. I loaded a new “Spoiler” in the NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Frozen Vetiver.

After: Home made ASB, Guess Man after shave balm
Cologne: 1969

I am using items from the Nationwide Box Tour this week. The Shiner Gold was whipped up wonderfully by the Vie Long brush. The lather was thick and slick with a scent of mint. The Fily and the Cobra worked well. The Guess Man ASB is a good moisturizer with a light scent and the 1969 will have me smelling good for the rest of the day.

As before, three passes with the RAKE/Bic combo left my face smooth enough that shaving was optional today, but I didn't want to keep making that excuse, so I cut it down to two passes, eliminating the XTG pass in order to stick with my 30-day focus on ATG. The extra loading time + bowl-lathering (apparently it's bowl-lather week for me) left me with a surplus of thick lather. Unfortunately, operator error caught a weeper on a known trouble spot on my throat in the first pass, cementing my decision to keep the shave at 2 passes and DFS+ results. The Cat o' Nine Tails has 'big burn' and 'little burn' days for me; today was more the former than the latter, which isn't a bad thing.
