    C. Are you sure you're not just traveling the world taking pics of your razor/bowl/brush? Either that or you must live in one of the most scenic places on earth!

    Soap: MdC Brain Bowl
    Brush: Simpson 2 "Chubby" Synthetic
    Razor: Feather AS-D2
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
    Aftershave: Floïd Blue

Clearly, I will be collecting a pension before I finish the Brain Bowl [IMG]
I am not tiring of the lather; it's A-1.
Daily shaves with the AS-D2 are like driving a Mercedes SL300, always a comfortable ride.
    The Med Preps are priceless.
I almost reached for my bottle of Floïd Vigoroso... [IMG]
    Have a great day!

Hahahaha! No, Herm! It is just that Vancouver has quite a few locations that offer such lovely backgrounds. I am extremely fortunate to live here as I still find it quite breath-taking after 22 years! :)

Pension?!! I can actually see the soap, slowly, dwindling each day, Primo! I say 6 months and even quicker if you start using your Chubby 2 Manchurian! :lyrtuy5:

Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS Frosted Glass 1960s
Whipped up the Maca Root in my favorite mug with my Silvertip. Back to my favorite daily driver the FB. It's weight does all the work and it sings a nice toon with a Feather blade. WTG XTG on my face and neck on 5. ATG on my neck on 3. Nice and slick and with my FB on 3 for my neck I can buff a little for a DFS. Great cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing Nivea. After cleanup some vintage OS Lime from 1960s.

The performance is very good. Not quite up to Stirling in my opinion, but still very good. The scent is great. It is a bit hard for me to describe and definitely has some soapyness to it, but I don't get too much absinthe like they describe. Everytime I get it out, I just enjoy the scent. But, I keep this one in a box and it gets hidden from me, so I don't use it as often as I like.

    Thursdays Shave

A nice shave today with the Gem. Although I have founf if you follow the origanal instructions and hold the razor flat against your face you get a much closer shave but no audible feedback.
The Barrister and Mann soap does irritate a tiny bit but not enough to stop me from using it.

    Pre Shave - Hot Towel
    Gillette Pre Shave Wash
Razor - Gem Micromatic Open Comb
    Blade - Gem

Razor: ATT R1 head w/MR1 handle
    Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (2)
Soap: TSD Signature (Bay Rum and Bergamot ES)
    Bowl: Steel
    Brush: Tweezerman
Post: Gentleman Jon Alum block (not in pic)

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! I then applied the Alum block.

Razor: Went with the ATT R1 head set today. Very nice mid aggressive head. I have used this a few times and each time I try it, the rest of the razors seem too mild for me, even the M1 plate.

Blade: Second day trying this blade and I think it is a pretty nice blade. It seemed to work very well with the two razors I tried it in. It still seems pretty sharp and smooth.

Soap: This is the first time trying The Shave Den soap as I just got these in. Wow, love the scent! It is great soap and I didnt have any problem getting a nice slick lather with each pass and protection was very good. The only thing I didnt like is that it was a sample so pretty thing and didnt stt well in the glass dish in pic as it is about a 1/4 inch thick or less so I put it in the steel bowl in pic to lather it up, which worked very well. Just kinda hate sample size stuff for this reason so I will just store the sample in the glass covered dish.

Comments: Shave was very good, I managed to get a DFS in three passes and almost no touch up. No weepers or irritation based on the Alum block's feedback. No complaints today as I got another great shave,

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.

Well, for tomorrow I'll try a new Glacial soap I received today. This is my morning set-up:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/SuperMax Blue day 5
Stirling Glacial Spearmint SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash
    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

I haven't test-lathered the new Glacial Spearmint soap yet but according to Rod the performance is much better than before. The scent is awesome, and just from sniffing it I can tell that it's going to be frigid. I'm looking forward to a great shave in the morning. ;) :D

Wishing everyone a nice weekend in advance! :)
