There are some really great aftershaves that provide incredible post shave feel. The days I don't use it and just add a shot of cologne/fragrance I miss it. Lucky Tiger face tonic is a really good example of having awesome post shave feel
Yup.. I just had the Brut (bought the Aqua Velva today, I'll use it tomorrow) and realized today that my skin felt tight and smooth. I've been using post shave balm which leaves the skin soft and silky smooth but sometimes "oily" until it absorbs in.
Actually the Proraso (green) Aftershave might be right up your alley for an alcohol based one. Its got a nice menthol kick and a great scent.
Den upgrade. Picked up a Spice Cabinet like this one, off the Bay. Took off the door and... Ba Da Boom! Shelves for my brushes.
Got this mail call today! I am sure you all can recognize the items! These are basically able to come my way courtesy of the Newbie PIF I won here awhile back! Thanks all!
OK...I've been thinking about the Ever-Ready and the Schick "Revere" (?). Decided to go ahead and get the Colgate&Co shave stick(empty) and the Gillette kit was a new arrival. The handle is cracked and the blade says Smith Blade.

Wow, thats a lot of menthol. We're not allowed to have that much menthol stored in one place in Canada....
My vintage Gibbs arrived form France to today. It dissasembles rather easily as can be seen in the photo just prior to its bath in scrubby bubbles. Just have to mod a blade so I can try it out. I do have an unused Gibbs blade for it hate to use Vintage NOS if I dont have too.
