Kinda wish this situation would have presented to you a month ago, would've made you a great deal on my Bonneville
Just waiting for my flight to Baltimore. Proud to be joining my courageous sister for the MS Walk on Sunday (she was diagnosed a year ago and fighting!!) Also, some quality Uncle time with my nieces and nephews!!
Watched some hockey last night and wasn't golfing today. A friend called early this morning and asked if I wanted to golf. My answer sure why not. So we are on the second tee and he comments that nobody else was golfing. Then it started to snow. We looked at each other, shook or heads. We knew why we where alone on the coarse. At ourselves.

I have a 2007 camry the transmission went out on, I was hoping it was just the electronic transmission control module but it was worse. It's going to cost me almost $4k and the car is worth about $10k. A tree too close to my chimney damaged the chimney during a storm Friday night (the same night the transmission blew) and that's going to cost me $850 to repair, plus $350 to take the tree down. It was an expensive weekend and not nearly as much fun as blowing it in Vegas would have been.
Are you currently out of what? A job? =P As a student I always use the common joke about having to much month left of my money
We held our annual FFA Parent/Member banquet last night. I am so fortunate to work with some amazing young leaders. The students did a great job of running a professional banquet program and awards ceremony. I teared up a little as I was able to present awards to my graduating seniors. You do get attached to some of them.
What the extent of the chimney damage? I just became an apprentice brick layer I could ask some of the guys at work if they might be interested in helping out.
It is a chimney on a two-story home and a row of bricks on one side was knocked off. They were mounted vertically with a mortar cap on top. The chimney guy is going to replace the top row of vertical bricks with two rows of horizontal and put a metal cap on the chimney. He's already working on the metal cap and will be out early next week to complete the job. Thanks for the offer, but I'll just let my chimney guy complete the job.
