No, the base plate is brass with chrome, and the cap is the new standard 2.0. I believe they'll be selling for $15 without a handle, or add $4 if you buy a razor and want a separate head.

I'm hoping it will cure my hankering for a custom 24mm Shavemac Silvertip 2-Band, which would be more than twice as much, but if it doesn't I'll sell the SOC to help fund the Shavemac.

 

The Euro-USD f/x rate is incredibly favorable right now. I bought a brand new Pils DE that including shipping got to be under $180.

 

Yes, the weak Euro is also what makes the custom Shavemac I want merely expensive instead of completely outrageous.

 

A random browse in Sainsbury's, ( that's a supermarket over here) and I unexpectedly found Trueffit and Hill no10, shave cream, moisturiser, and aftershave balm and cologne all on a great offer. I'm going to pick up the shave cream and balm/ cologne tomorrow. Does anyone use either of them, if so are they any good. They're going to be £4 each. About $6. That's less than half price over here.

 

Ordered a Super Speed Red Tip and a replacement Moto X. Hate this phone I'm using now. Waiting with based breath for my Super Speed. Can't wait to get it ready for use. May pull the trigger on a Super Adjustable also.

The only thing that sucks worse than having a job is not having one. Went through this for the first time in my life at the beginning of the big recession. We all got two hours notice that our company was going out of business. It happened a week after we found out my wife was pregnant with our second child...
