What rocket did I buy...?

I spent $20 some weeks ago on yet another Gillette Rocket.
When it arrived today it immediately looked a lot different to my other HD rockets and as I looked closer at it I think it might possibly be a Gillette Aristocrat Junior? I really don't know as my Gillette-radar is way off so ANY help is greatly appreciated.

It was sold as "NOS" and it truly is mint in every regards to the case, the blade holder and the razor - great shine and not a single scratch or plate loss - so regardless of it's the lesser-known/fancy Aristocrat or not I still think my 20 bucks did me well. Love the look of it.

Solid, flat inside with no markings:

Pat No and "Made in England" on the bottom of the base plate:

Whatever it is I love the look, weight and feel of it...

Anyone able to tell what model this might be?

    Thanks in advance!

Hmm...not the same red "Rocket" box it came in...but the razor itself seems to match....

That is not a Rocket. It is an Aristocrat Jr. And they're awesome. I have a couple. One I bought on purpose, the other was fortuitously hidden in a lot I received several weeks ago. Mighty fine shavers. To me they're similar in performance to a Ranger Tech. Aren't the old British Gillettes elegant?

Thanks yeah and what seems to be interesting is that this particular Aristocrat was commonly sold in Canada in these red "Rocket" cases.

For $20 you got lucky. Wait, that didn't sound right. Or maybe it did. Nice razor any way.

Oh there are places in the city where $20 can do that.
    I've heard from friends.

Don't mean to crash the party, just confirming what has been said, defo a Aristocrat Jr. I have had quite a few minters in the past but that one is truly NOS & superb no matter what case it's in!!
And yes, the British models are elegant, also I believe a superior lasting build quality, nothing anti-American intended but we just have (had) a better quality of steel.
Anyway I will butt out now and leave you to it

This was marketed by Gillette in Canada as a Rocket. Yes it is the same as the British made razor under the name "Aristocrat Junior."

Excellent razor. I have one and I know it really outperforms the equivalent cased US Super Speed models.

No steel in this razor. Does not pass the magnet test. A magnet should hold to it if it were steel. This razor is brass with an nickel electroplate exterior.

That's me put back under the dunce cap. I can be so dumb sometimes even when attempting to be humorous!!
Besides the lack of steel the brass over here is pretty good quality too
