I almost made it through April............but, Reef Point-Peerless 6 new 8 oz. jars from Specialty Bottle
Thanks - I don't even mind the patina on the head as I think in some cases it adds some character. I love the box - very clever design. I think there is one selling on eBay right now at a rather high price.
Yesterday's arrivals: Fine Fresh Vetiver - just in time for summer Yoresh Shaving Bowl - good for any time of the year
I'm going to take a long break from buying soaps. I need to really use up some of the soaps i have. So these are the last 2 for a while. This mickey lee drunken goat is the best smelling soap I've ever come across. Smells like a cookie. The soap commander inspiration smells like a mix of grapefruit and mandarins. Very clean citrus
Found a late Shulton era bottle of the long lasting cologne, 2 1/2 fl. oz., full, $1.50. Also saw something odd...one of these for $15. I passed but someone will probably snag it (not my auction, just showing the pic).
Last night it looked like I'd have to be at work all day today, but fate intervened @ 07:00 this morning, and I've got my weekend off. So, it's raining, cool, and in general not really an outside/garden type of day, and I thought, road trip! There just has to be something that @Darkbulb hasn't bought up yet..... Yep, there was. But it's kinda nasty. I think there's a Super Speed under all that gunk, but I'm not sure.... Let me see the date code...... Gaaaaak! Can anybody see the date code? I can't either. So, it's off to the razor cleaning area (kitchen sink) to get this nasty piece of shaving goodness cleaned up. I'll be back with the "after" pictures shortly. Wish me luck fellas.......
Kerry you need to get this soap. I could honestly eat it. It makes me want to buy all their soaps. Haha
Ok, now what? Preliminary cleaning is done, and NO date code. Back to the dish washing soap for another soak, but it's looking much nicer! Everything is straight, and the mechanism is very smooth. I think this is tomorrow's razor! If this is too old to have a date stamp, does that make this a Ranger, or is this a Super Speed......?
Stopped at an antique store this week I haven't been in before and found (4) four Old Spice mugs for $10.50 each. I don't like spending more than $5 to $8 a mug but since one had an unused puck of soap and one was an excellent condition Early 01 I justified the extra expense. (2) Two American Glass Late 02's - (one with an unused puck of soap and plastic lid) (1) One American Glass Early 01 (1) One American Glass Early 06 Glad I got one with a soap. I see mugs in the wild all the time but this is the first time I've found one with soap in it. I finally put a list together today of all my mugs and it was interesting to note how many Early 06's and Late 02's I have. Makes me wonder if more of those were produced than some of the others.
