I used the feather blade again today and it reminded me why feather was my favorite blade for a long time. The feather blade is nice and sharp as well as being gentle on my face, without causing an undue "gotcha". 3 passes and nice and smooth. Unfortunately, I am now down to my last feather blade, so I am undecided whether to use it tomorrow or to keep it for some special occasion. Only tomorrow will tell.

4/27/2015 My Big Fat Tobacco Tuesday Shave!

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Executive (3), Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
Blade: Astra SP (5)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
Soap: Tabac
After: Home made ASB, Tabac after shave
Cologne: Tabac EDC

It was an almost Baby Butt Smooth 2 pass shave this morning. The Vie Long brush whipped up the Tabac into a wonderful lather. The Duck and the Exec did a spectacular job. The Tabac AS and the Tabac EDC were a fine finish to this great shave and they will have me smelling good all day.
