Had a good experience with White Horse Hair but I dropped the brush a while ago and the handle broke so I got me another one. A Vie-Long 12705B.
Nice trio Guy. I picked up two pitralon aftershaves in a trade..pure and classic. I'm glad you broke the ice on the master lather....looking forward to your thoughts.
Bought a pack of these dog grooming blades to be used in my Durham Duplex razor. They are supposedly the exact same specs as the old Durham blades. Will be interesting to try out.... [/IMG]
Thanks to the newbie giveaway I'm waiting on a few things from the TSD shop - TSD soap (signature scent, subzero, and woodshed) and Mbomb additive and picked up some EO from Gingers garden. I added on some soaps for the wife too since mother's day is coming up. Also looking forward to trying out some Russian blades and an Omega Pro 49.
I'll hold my breath until I can see the inside of the razor...but for now it seems like I snagged one of the razors that have been on my want-list: An open comb damaskeene. I was the only bidder and if that is what it is then I think $19 was a very reasonable price.
I am waiting on a couple of knots from Larry at Whipped Dog. The 22mm High Mountain Badger will go in my Jayaruh #6 handle, and the 24mm Silver Tip Badger will go in the Jayaruh #7 handle which will then go to @david of central florida .
Two more knots from TGN. I needed both in 16mm for two small vintage handles waiting for restore but he only had one boar in 16mm. I ended buying an 18mm silvertip and plan to bore one of the two handles to fit.
Traded some shave soap for these three brushes with a extra knot for the New Forest Alpolina Im cornering the market on Grosvenor brushes. This will be my third one.
RazoRock TTO razor. Missed out on the one from @americanshamrock when I played Let's Make a Deal so I had to order one. Also a Vie-Long 12705 horsehair brush. And, finally, 100 Sharp Star blades as well as a 140 blade mixed Russian pack for PIF purposes.
Great razor. I have the 1918 and it's aggressive so watch out...they bite, but they produce great shaves too!
Waiting on; and just couldn't resist this as an add-on item.... ARKO Aftershave/Cologne, Platinum 8.45 ounces, $4.99 Legendary arko brand Charming fragrance Made in turkey
Wow. Just found this thread. I could have added a lot over the last month. Good month of shaving supplies. The only thing coming right now is a puc of William's. But I'm a sucker for the old stuff, so I'm excited!!!
