Have you ever watched The Seven Samurai? It's a Japanese film by Akira Kurosawa that was remade in the US as The Magnificient Seven.

Today...I spent a quiet Easter with Mrs. Samurai and Son of Samurai. A really nice day!

I hung out with my granddaughter Addy.

I finished up the painting for the front steps and rails I built for my wife. I had built the steps a year ago, but since she got her new knee, I have added the hand rails and the additional step on the porch to make it easier for her to get in and out of the house.

My mom just moved into an assisted living facility. She's treated very well, she's making new friends, and she likes it! My bride and I had dinner there with my mom tonight.

Today, I built a shelf for my target stand, using nothing but construction foam and duct tape.

All the manliest projects involve duct tape. /clappity

The really cool part is that it works as intended.

Used the Wahl clippers with 3/4" attachment to buzz the back and sides over the toilet, followed up with a trim with the old Playtex hair trimmer. Looks like $20, feels like a million.

Shaved and took care of my wonderful Granddaughter. She greatly enjoying playing with packing material. Made a mess but a great memory with Elli and her Papa.
