What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

This is the first time I've tried Maca Root Shaving Cream and it performed nicely. Nice shave today, have a good one.

today I used;
Clauss 5/8 full hollow round end
I've named it my "grunt issue"
it was newly touched-up with the apache strata. it felt smoother, an the keen-ness seemed like it was longer lasting.
three passes with the straight, cleanup with yesterday's slim.
nice shave today, one ofmy better straight shaves.

 

Thanks Lou, It's a very beautiful looking razor it's takes a bit of getting use because I usually use bigger blades even though it's a 6/8 it feels much smaller because the blade length is shorter with a much longer tang.

Same razor again- Wade and Butcher The Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground 5/8 Square point (post 1890) with one piece wood scales. Did a two pass with the straight except for where I have a cut healing, and got a DFS. Didn't touch up the neck at all. (Is it OK that I am posting the same pictures in this thread and the 30 day focus tread?)

today it's a Clauss 5/8 full hollow round end.
it has been finished with apache strata and stropped on a @Drygulch custom strop. the edge felt very nice, it smoothly removed stubble to the point I wondered if it was doing anything. but the smoothness it left behind was the proof that it was.
the only differences were the finish stone and the strop, both did nicely.

Nice shave this morning. I had intentions of using this brush for the month of May but have missed a few days already. If I get a chance I might rehandle it this weekend. Have a good one.
