Half tempted to send you some of my vintage durham blades. But I think canine blades might be better for you....
Received my open comb GEM Damaskeene today and it's in beautiful condition - some of the best $19 I've spent I think. The open comb version is rather rare but having said that I did see two other selling for around $25 dollars - my guess is because they are not advertised as such. "Hey look - it's an OC!" The flatbottom that I believe is unique to the OC model A very clean razor - almost looks unused. Purty
I got this for my father. He helped me a lot with my car and I wanted to get him something nice. He had expressed an interest to pick up DE shaving again. He is also getting a synthetic brush and an Arko stick. Anyone know what year it is? It doesn't have any numbers
Hey.. That Fitjar soap was VERY good. It provides an excellent shave! Definitely one of my best soaps
I need to get started on mine as well. It's just so pretty there in it's 'lil wooden bowl and all. And knowing that I can't get any more is holding me back. Yeah, yeah I know...I'll get to it
It wasn't for lack of trying let me tell you. Nowadays I work off a very selective ebay watch list and don't got there anymore to just 'hunt' - and when the occasional forum member lets me know about something special being sold on there..... I do miss the days of the hunt though....but then again, working my way through all these razors is in itself quite an adventure that I find that I truly enjoy. I worry I won't be able to narrow it down to 12 razors in the end though....
