Today's find after a bath....

 

Whaaaat? Are these the $10 razors you bought?
I call robbery on that!!

 

It always blows me away how much money people leave on the table by not taking old crusty blades out and giving the razors a cleaning. Nice find!

 

Yup, thems the old crusty razors. They cleaned up better than I thought. And a dab of oil paint on the numbers while throwing the nasty old Hofritz blades away.

 

Arrived today - Vie-Long 12705 Horsehair brush, 35/65. RazoRock TTO razor. Gotta say this razor looks and feels AWESOME! Nice to have a modern plated brass razor. I'm feeling a day off from my focus to try this out soon! The Lord Platinums were included with the razor.

It does have similar styling. The entire handle turns to operate the doors. Unique. Nice and heavy too...feels like a vintage.

Goodwill finds. Matched bowls. They look hand spun and have some chinese symbols on the bottom. New wide lather bowl and covered soap dish for me.

Wow. They look great. Wish I had antique stores like your American ones near where I live. Must be great to hunt for razors in the wild and what a great deal you got.
