    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Rituals Samurai face wash, Geo F Trumpers Sandalwood hair and body wash
The bluebeards revenge Pre shave oil

Soap/cream- Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood shaving soap

Brush- Whipped Dog 24 mm Silvertip

    Razor- Merkur 37 C

    Blade- Astra SP

Post- Cold water rinse, Homemade aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive aftershave balm

It was a looong time ago since I used a pre shave and it was to long ago since I used a Stirling soap.

with about 5 days of growth I felt like the merkur was the way to go, and I also felt my face could use all the help it could get. The merkur did a great job and removed the facial hair with no problem. I might have gone to deep here and there because I did feel a slight razor burn after the shave. My homemade aftershave inspired by @tuxxdk has a little menthol in it which felt NICE, and also the balm extended that feeling a little bit =)

All in all, a really nice shave. Stirling soap is definitely a top performer @RaZorBurn123 Thanks again =)

    Schick razor
    Schick injector blade (9)

    Excelsior Texugo silvertip brush
    Myrsol Emulsion preshave lotion
    Tabula Tasa Patchouli shaving cream
Myrsol Tonico Facial Formula C aftershave

I had a great shave yesterday and an even better one today. I am really loving Myrsol products and the Formula C aftershave is no exception. Its got a real nice menthol cooling feel and pleasant scent. I didnt get the Tabula to lather as well as expected because I had too much water but the the performance was awesome none the less. 9 shaves on the schick Blade and still going strong.

The Back to work after 3 years shave

Well it's been 7 years since I had a proper job. This is more of a work experience thing. But it's good to be amongst people again and contributing to society.
Just wished the shave went better. 30 minutes after the shave I looked in the mirror and half my face had red marks on it. I looked liked at acne ridden, teenage version of Harvey Dent. (Two face from Batman)
Not what I needed today. Oh well
    Bad shave. Good day.

    Razor - Milord
    Blade - Sputnik
    Brush - Pilsson synthetic
    Lather - MDC fougere
Aftershave - Nivea cooling balm & Old Spice

Gillette Trac II cart on shave #5. I broke out my Aramis soap and got a wunnerfully smooth BBS. Given all I'm doing is stropping the cart and dipping in 91% alcohol post-shave, that's not too shabby.

But like I always say: technique is the only constant. Everything else is a variable.

    Brush Focus: Day 13/30
Brush: Frank Shave Finest Badger 20/45, Faux Ebony Handle (travel brush)
Gillette Super Speed, A3 Flare Tip (1955)
    Gillette Platinum Blade (6)
    Bowl: KO Shave
    Soap: Jack's Soap
    AS: Osage Rub
    Old Spice Coffee Mug.
As unhappy as I was with the Frank Shave Brush Beechwood handle Best Badger, I'm pleased to say I am very happy with today's brush. This brush loads to the hilt and applies lather by the boat load. Simply add a little water along the way and your in for a great face lather. Scritch is not present with this brush or if there is I couldn't feel it. YMMV. This brush stays in the rotation and will be used on a regular basis. Blade still functioning well and another great shave today. Love the rub also. Three passes no clean up needed.

PRESHAVE: Face wash with soap and warm/hot water
RAZOR: ATT M2 plate with MR1 handle
    BLADE: Astra SP (2)
    SOAP: Proraso White Tub
    BOWL: Steel
    BRUSH: Tweezerman
POST: Rinse with warm/hot water to get soap off and then some cold water rinses/splashes and pat try. Apply Gentleman Jon Alum block and rinse/wash off after a minute or two!

Comments: Shave was great and very, very close, I got a DFS with no problems and almost a full BBS except just a spot or two on the neck and chin area! I decided to use the M2 for a few reasons today. First it has been awhile since I tried it out, second is that no one bought it and third cause someone on here somewhere used one today and loved it! I am glad I did use the M2 today I did get a great shave from it! Soap was great! I am really liking this white Proraso alot! I liked the lather, protection and feel throughout the shave and the post shave feel as well. No issues from it at all. No nicks or irritation based on the alum block. A great shave today!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!

    Thx.
