A great Tuesday! First day since last Friday that I've felt good. I have had a sinus infection requiring azithromycin antibiotics, but things are clearing up rapidly now. The rain and humidity up here actually is good for breathing today. I am almost full strength again, thank the Lord!

My two cents...and I've worn contacts for years.....BioTrue is the best solution for me. I have tried Clear Care and it is very good. I prefer the BioTrue for longer comfort. Now, solution can be a bit like blades.....YMMV...with an important difference. Different contact types respond to different solutions and to your eyes as well. So follow the Dr.'s advice and keep your eyes healthy!! If something goes wrong it's a lot more serious than a nick on your chin. Hope the dentist gets you fixed up! Nothing worse than tooth pain, well yes there are but not many. LOL

Want me to come negotiate the deal for you? Only a small commission necessary. :eatdrink047:

I went to a Chinese brush painting class this morning. (This is given through the retirees chapter of my union.) Then I went to PT and I am feeling surprisingly good right now. Plus, my new target mat arrived. So, it's been a veerry good day.

    Holy cow! I am exhausted!

Aside from that things are going well today! ('bout time too)
I had an excellent shave! Yesterday I got a hair cut and everyone in the office keeps telling me how great I look (compliments to my wife...she cut my hair). Credit card debts are almost paid off too.
My job is going well (knock on wood).

Also, this is probably the biggest news: Yesterday I bought some Gatsby Moving Rubber (hair wax/pomade). It's not the product...but the fact that I bought styling product. It has honestly been YEARS since I last purchased any hair styling product...so yep...moving up in the world! ;)

    ***

Things are going well. Above are a few of the reasons, more importantly my wife's health has been significantly improving since she was in hospital a few months back. That is good to see. Mental health is a scary thing to battle and live with, but fighting through the struggle (and a huge struggle it is) makes anyone stronger. not only that, an entire universe of understanding is opened up on a topic that is NOT understood by the average person.

I may be exhausted, but today is a good day! Happy Tuesday everyone!

So are you learning how to do the beautiful Asian artwork (the outline looking pieces)?

Some of it is in the outline style, but there are also colored florals. I will post a pic later.

Thanks Neal! I plan on going with whatever the professionals suggest, I did see BioTrue in the office. A toothache has the ability to constantly remind you that it's alive and well! :angry021:

    I bought the bike.

This is the bike I got, it's a Trek 820. Nothing fancy, but it's the style I was looking for.

Tomorrow I'm going to take it for a ride on the Springwater Corridor, about 20 miles. About a hundred years ago Portland had odd rail lines and trolleys crisscrossing all over the place and going to all kinds of crazy places. For the last 20 years they've been ripping them out and paving the old rail lines as multi-use paths. This is one of the longer ones and is a lot of fun to ride.

They're doing rail trails all over the country now. You will eventually be able to cross the country on these.

Thanks for the link. We have the Katy Trail here, runs about halfway across Missouri on an old rail bed. Beautiful place to hike or bike along the Missouri River. I'll take a look and see if it's part of it as well.

Looks like a great bike. Cool to have them old rail lines reused as multi-puropose paths! Have fun!
