Excellent! I hope you post that beauty on the thread below as well! http://theshaveden.com/forums/threa...al-teeth-no-r41-hybrid-or-closed-combs.40529/
My soaps arrived a day early. Not a bad way to start a 3day weekend after a long day/week of work. And they even threw in a freebie of the sandalwood. Cant wait to put these to the test.
I'm curious...what grip works best with those and have you found the angle yet? With the gap between blades I'm not sure how effective it will be either. Still, nice haul.
They are mostly post-shave related on days when I have a really bad shave and want to walk around and hide from the public.
The old head in the sand attempt. I know that one well. I prefer to start most of my sales with mine on so they can't look me in the eye just yet. Also hides the bloodshot eyes on some mornings.
executive man is AWESOME....the vanilla sandalwood is pretty good, it like a sweet smelling sandalwood but im glad they gave me the sandalwood too because i prefer that one better...the ben franklin is just weird, i reminds me of a holiday spice/root beer...the executive man will be one that will be a regular for me and i will be buying again...one thing i have learned about myself when it comes to "scents", is that i like more of a cologne scent (think VDH luxury, which is one of my top fav. scents)....so take it for what its worth, "scent" is soooo subjective. but i will say this, i have test lathered them and so far stirling is looking very very good right now, but i will wait until i shave with it before i give a true opinion
Huge shout out to @Redrock for the Cinco de Mayo PIF! Just received my winnings and what a surprise load of goodies! Plus some Mystic Waters Orange Spiced Tea AND Jabonman Laurel samples that smell heavenly! Thank you as soaps are an area I have skimped on and only really used VDH so far. Tried the Strop Shop Baker Street this morning and it was really a nice, fragrant lather! Can't wait to try the others! Thank you so much Ed, they will be used and enjoyed! P.S. never tried the Rapira blades so have a lot of " first " shave experiences to come!
Found more O.S. at the same local haunt. This time some Limited Edition from '96, which seems a bit muted but better balanced than Shulton's norm. I think I prefer it. Also the full bottle of "Sensitive" no-alcohol a.s. (more of a balm) that I used to enjoy but totally forgot about. Slapped some on after buying it and it's just as cooling and refreshing as I remember. Also snagged DVDs of Merchant of Venice (Pacino), The Sand Pebbles (McQueen) and Nighthawks (Stallone/Hauer). The O.S. was half off so the whole bill was $7 and change. Not bad for a Saturday morning prowl.
