Last night I BBQ'ed burgers and hot dogs for the boys from work, had a campfire and smores, drank scotch and smoked cubans. Great times! And now I feel like crap.

Not Fun realizing that now I have no excuse for the grass not being cut

Yesterday, I taught 3 guys how to make pre-shave oil.

 

Just fired up the charcoal grill after saving The Wife a trip to the store. Menu: burgers for the girls, two cheap steaks, asparagus, mashed potatoes (sweet potato for me) and maybe baked beans. Topped with a nice brown ale. Krispy Kreme mini-strawberry donuts for desert (I'll pass).

 

Trying to unclog the bathroom sink....unsuccessful so far but hopefully this drain bladder works and things can go back to normal

 

Cooked the ribs of a dead pig over wood coals using wet hickory chunks in the coals and cedar boards under the ribs.

 

Where was my invite? That looks delicious!

Looks great. Never thought of the cedar planks, I've only used them on fresh pacific salmon!

 

A likely story! You're supposed to send out invitations before the event; not after! Yeesh.

 

Well these Korean Kalbi ribs may not be the award winning hickory wood, cedar plank BBQ ribs of @NCoxSTL, but at least I shared*** mine tonight!
