No point fighting it. Its one of those things that works out in the end.....by either having one of everything or going broke
I have several doses of relief for my ASAD on the way, but I've just been notified by Razor Emporium that my 195 is shipping back to me with its new rhodium armor.
You got that right! I hope I can find the "before" photos. I'm really bad about misplacing stuff like that.
One month into the wet shave routine and I've been hit with a pretty strong case of RAD. Just this weekend I received the first of 3 vintage razors! See my new Gillette Gold Tech. I'm waiting on: - 1955 Gillette Silver Flare Tip (birthday razor) - Schick Golden 500 (I'm thinking that the lower blade profile will allow me to use it for mustache and beard touch-up and perhaps a full shave, as part of the razor rotation.) It's official, I've got the fever! - RT
@clint64 was extremely kind in helping me clean up and re-knot my Rubberset 400-3 for me. Who am I kidding 'helping me'? He did all the work! I sourced a Silvertip, Grade A (more backbone) knot and this is the result. I can't wait to get this back and put it into my shaves and photos. Lots and lots of photos The brush as I sent it out: The handle all polished up: Fitted with the knot:
Really nice brush but trick photography is not allowed! Lol! Seriously tho, cool photo on the marble makes the handle look like it has crystal in the neck and handle. Quality job on the brush and photo!

I have both a 400-3 and a 400 unmarked. I would like to add a 400-4 but with the prices of the last couple of weeks, I'll wait until I'm able to snag one at a more sane price.
Define 'deal' Holy cow...I just took a look on eBay and what in the world has happened to the price on these brushes lately?! I mean they were always high (around $100) but right now they seem to command over $200 in most cases.
