I'm guessing it's a 1941 account it being in the underside in the warranty. It's in great shape. Very surprised.

Thanks. You would think so looking at the two pictures. A three minute soak in CLR, a good scrubbing, and metal polish makes a world of difference. The seller failed to mention that the adjuster dial was stuck. A little mineral oil and vise grip took care of that though.

That's one Gillette model I never tried. How do you like it?

I use mine when I need a break from my aggressive razors. For me it shaves a lot like all the other super speeds.

 

Ah thanks. I've used my Gillette Blue or Black tips for that - as there certainly are days when I want/need something milder.
Now that I have the Pils I might start using that as my go-to mild razor.
