Arrghh...so you're the one that outbid me on that one.
All the transformer oil I have, well, lying around, will have to remain un-analyzed.
Guess I will have to find another way of analyzing as per ASTM D3612-02, Method B.

    Shouldn't a buck knife cost a………dollar? :D

For the wife (and me :D ), I picked up what every manly kitchen needs…a hernia-generating 18pound 7.8 quart enameled cast-iron Dutch oven.

I knew it was pretty good size from the online picture, but once it arrived and I put it on the stove. Holy smokes! What a beast!
    Chili for 25, anyone?

I decided to go old school and get one of these. I have used it twice in the last two days and all I can say is, why did I wait so long? Everything taste so much better grilled on it.

This thread turned into something more interesting than I thought - a great, and fun, insight into our members non-shaving life and interest :)

    Thanks for sharing.

I have been eyeing that Lodge enameled pan but holding off hoping Costco would come back with their brand which I think is either actually made by Le Creuset or Staub.

I was looking at the Le Creuset line which has been the standard for premium enameled cast iron ware. But after doing some research and reading reviews, I was compelled to try the Lodge, mainly due to price difference from the Le Creuset—which are excellent.
See a good review of 'the Best Dutch Oven' Here
I wound up getting the largest model (7.8 qt vs the standard 6-qt).

My wife got the 6 quart dutch oven for mother's day from her daughter in red. Lodge is very good pot.
