Tuesday's Dove Men Face Wash Arko Stick Jayaruh WC1 STB Gillette Red Tip SS (First Shave) Ladas Super Stainless (First Shave) CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Pinaud Clubman AS The Arko Stick Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silvertip Badgerbrush. Two passes with my Gillette Red Tip SuperSpeed razor (First Shave) and a Ladas Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. This was my first shave with a Red Tip SS and with the Ladas Super Stainless. It was very smooth, and I am looking forward to tomorrow's sahve already. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

TUESDAY Evening Shave for Tomorrow… Early start in the morn so an evening shave was in order. Third consecutive day using the big Rodgers razor, but tonight was my first use of a beautiful hand-made strop made of Red Latigo from Drygulch Leatherworks (Beautiful craftsmanship, Adam! @Drygulch ). Great draw and supple leather…a quality piece of shaving gear! Three-passes with DFS results. Have a great Tuesday, all!
World Tournament of Blades - Russia vs. the World!! June 8, 2015 Prep - Hot shower and towel Brush - VDH Boar Soap - Proraso Razor - Razo Rock TTL Blade - (1) Post - Alum, Nivea Balm I'm late but I'm here. Not a bad shave today as the tournament enters its 7th day. Up today is the Ladas...a stainless blade. I have used this blade before and like it so let's see how it performs in the tourney. Lathered Proraso Green and got down to business. First pass very smooth and the blade seems sharp enough. No issues and I lathered for the second pass. XTG as always and a very nice result though not as nice a finish as some blades. Still DFS after two but needed some touch up under the neck to finish. Ended with a nice DFS. Now, one thing I did notice today was the return of the 5 o'clock shadow. Seems a bit rougher than usual as the day wore on so I'm going to take back a bit on the sharpness. May not have been quite as close as I first judged. So, sharpness is a 2....some issues though not major. Smoothness is a 1. No issues there at all. Irritation is a 1. Stainless normally agrees with me and this one is no different. Just a minor burn from the alum on my neck. Result is a 2...DFS. Total - 6. Not a bad performance at all. I don't use too many stainless blades, but when I do, Ladas is a top choice. Tomorrow we go with the St. Petersburg stainless...the Nacet!

Tabacstag! Tabac just works every time, especially when I make überlather with the cream and soap. The Colonel is seemingly made for harder soaps, it surrounded my face in luxury, my stubble unaware of its fate. The Fatboy set on nine for the first two passes and seven for the last did its job without effort or drama. Sherlock finished up this shave right with a welcome cool and leathery dry down. I used up the last of the Kiehl's facial fuel wash. It's a great product, but a bit too pricey for me. I found four rings at the beach yesterday, if any of y'all are treasure hunters. but today a gotta catchup on what I shluffed-off yesterday. it's TOBACCO TUESDAY,I paired the tobacco with the veg, wife said, aargh. pity cause I feel flowery and refreshed. three passes with the krona, I'm ready to get to it. hope y'all did as well, or better.
I feel a bit better but I'm still staying in today. The Glacial Lavender soap is a top-favourite of mine - what a gorgeous scent, it lathered like a champ for me, and it's a menthol atom bomb with great post-shave care. The Rubby Dubby Doo put the proverbial "icing on the cake." Today's shave was sensational.
