If you feel strange having a beer at 7am in your own home, go to a cantina at 7am and enjoy your beer while every one else is having coffee and breakfast. Used to call that Beer:30 after coming off the night shift while stationed in Germany.

When I worked grave years ago, I used to stop by a bar by my house on the way home and take advantage of their breakfast specials. I'd get a big breakast with bloody mary's' for $4. Drinking at 7a is great!

My brother was happy this morning when I picked him up to go see our younger brother. Then upon our meeting up the Lord saw fit to take him home!

My day was not anything to get upset about. Nothing to get excited about.......just another day.

Many years ago a woman that I knew said to me "Any day I can put my feet on the floor and put my knickers on is a Good Day!":happy088::happy093:
I know for sure at that time she was in her late 80's she lived to be over 100.

Sorry to be a few days late, but none the less:

So Owl wrote...and this is what he wrote:
    HIPY PAPY BTHETHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY
    Pooh looked on admiringly.
"I'm just saying 'A Happy Birthday'," said Owl carelessly.
"It's a nice long one," said Pooh, very much impressed by it.

    So here goes:
HIPY PAPY BTHETHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY, Rich!
    & many more to come!

BTW, must have been one heck of a party!
    How's the head? Herring helps!

About 3 weeks in at the new job, and I'm enjoying it. I've started to feel human again. They treat me like a person here! They remind me to go to lunch, make me go home at quitting time, and genuinely swing by my office just to chat, not just about work. I've gotten to meet all sorts of city officials, too. Plus I've gotten to go out and do some new things like work with a bucket truck (not actually on it, mind you) and learn to splice fibre. I'm really learning stuff here, and I'm collaborating with like minded people. And when I go home from work... work stays at work. It fantastic, so far.

I'm sitting at the dentist office, I had my cap put on my tooth, also had a filling done. Now I wait as my wife sits in the chair, she is terrified of the dentist!

I got laid off last night/this morning so it's my first day off in at least a week. It is much needed as I think I may have given them all I had in me and am physically drained. I was hoping to get some skateboarding in but for now it's beer and catching up on Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley

I sent a resume package over to a company today that has a job that's pretty much right up my alley. Hope I get a response!
