How do y'all travel with your brush? Is it kosher just to throw it in a plastic bag? I've thought about shelling out for a twist-travel brush but if I can take my regular one I'll do it. Thanks!

I got a pill bottle, large, from my local pharmacy. I drilled a few holes on top and it works like a charm. No worries about damage or hairs going crazy. It is cheap an effective. I think I paid a buck for the bottle at CVS.

As for my brush, I just just shake it off, make sure its reasonably dry, and throw it in my travel bag. I take my "second class brush" and some shave cream in a tube and my razor and it does me fine.

They must have air flow at all times to keep from getting mildew. There are brush containers to fit the bill, but most of us use a large pill bottle with holes for air flow or paper towel or toilet paper rolls.

Ditto. Large pill bottle, went to town with a 1/16th drill bit and a round point file.

My travel brush goes in a round deodorant container with the bottom core retained and the center bottom open. Then handle of the brush fall through the bottom.
When travel by car I put the brush in the car ashtray to dry. It reminds me of the fun of went shaving, while it drys well, at the same time.

Thanks, all! I was envisioning something along the lines of a plastic tube with holes in it that the brush would sit in. The pill container is a great idea.

I use an old pill bottle. I got it from my Pharmacist I also put my in an old Crystal Light container. That way I do not have to take it apart.

I also went to a local "independent" drugstore. After I explained why I wanted the pill bottle, the pharmacist actually gave me two different sized(length) bottles for free to try. :)

Pill bottle here as well. My wegmans pharmacy handed me about 5 of them when I inquired at no cost. I drilled holes in bottoms and tops for airflow. Works great.

Same here. Stick it in the tube, put the tube in a bag and then into my wash bag. Done it multiple times for various travel, car, checked baggage, carry on baggage, etc and it's always done a great job of protecting the brush.
