1. I'm looking for a good shave soap or cream scent for the summertime. For me, that means less musk, patchouli or spice. FYI I'd consider TOBS Sandalwood to be a one of these muskier scents I'm trying to avoid. Suggestions, please.
  2. The TSD Store has a huge selection of citrus scents.

  3. My top two would be Stirling Sharp Dressed Man and PAA The Beach. I think fougeres make nice summer scents as well.

  5. I got a sample of the Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill. EXCELLENT! A wonderful lathering soap. A WOW burst of menthol cooling. And a great citrus scent that was incredibly refreshing. I also got the Stirling MITA which is another I plan to use throughout the summer. A nice lime/Margarita smell with just a little wow burst of menthol cooling. Both excellent scents and excellent soaps.

Oh and they were great to ship a free sample of their coniferous soap. Amazing smell, but may not be the kind of thing you want for the summer. While camping, definitely. Winter time before hanging out in front of a fire, most definitely! Just loved getting the extra surprise though.

  9. I would suggest either a crisp barbershop style scent or something citrusy. In the summer I prefer:

    Proraso White
    Proraso Green
    TOBS Eton College
    TOBS St. Jaymes
Tabac never goes out of style

    Aftershaves would be:
    The Veg for warm days
Clubman Special Reserve for rainy days

  17. I have 2:
    1. Geo. F. Trumper's Coconut cream

The coconut reminds me of being on the water in the summer, and the grapefruit reminds me of having breakfast on a nice summer morning by the pool. Perfect!
