I thought they didn't start the SA until 1969, which is when mine is from. Cool to know (my personal date code is N-4).
Last Sunday was Father's day over here. I got this here. I was really happy about this. I know they used to be available in Ikea, but when I looked on their Danish site they weren't there I guess they stopped selling them here. So when k opened this I was very happy. Every time I use it it reminds me of the kind and loving family I have.
A nice day at the Antiques Fair. The old bottle with the stopper says Pinaud Paris on it. The $2.00 late 40s Super Speed will clean up nice. And even thought it has the wrong razor on it, this service set case is like new. I might already have the correct razor for it. All of this stuff for less than $75.00. Great morning
The Pinaud bottle will be great for some Veg - it really changes nicely when stored in a glass bottle for some reason. Also - happy to see you're now ramping up to get into straight razors
I only have one straight. The strop is new and made out of horse hide and linen. I couldn't pass it up for the price I talked him down to.
do I hear .99.......... my mom gave me my grandad's. so actually, free with a family tie in, gets to be trump.
iKon Shavecraft Tech. Fine accoutrement angel hair brush. Here's how iKon describes the order of mild to aggressive
Interesting aggression-chart. Would you agree with it now that you can try it? Also, I believe that is the Fine brush that Chris Baley likes so much
Just because one knot feels similar to another doesn't mean it is a knockoff Here's a pretty good video comparing the Fine to the Plisson:
I meant the knot. It nothing against the maker. I think it's a Very good deal =) I want another brush like plisson but it's expensive here and I can't buy another. If this brush is similar to it, I might buy it =)
