Afta was the very first aftershave I bought - still got some left. I remember liking it quite a bit. Thanks for 'reminding me' about it - I'll use it next week :)

Smoother than silk, as well as more frigid than a winter morning in Siberia is a perfect description of this shave. The Glacial Lavender is a cherished favourite soap of mine, and after a splash of the Rubby Dubby Doo I think my face will need all day to thaw out! :Animatedfrozensmily:

Hahaha okey, I get some redness, not irritation, just a little red here and there. It goes away after 1-5 minutes

    Face and head shave
    June 20, 2015
Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Shield Face Wash
    Razor Face: RazoRock Baby Smooth
    Razor Head: Schick I1
    Blade Face: Personna Lab Blue
    Blade Head: Schick
Brush: Ever-Ready 150 TGN 24/54mm Synthetic by @GDCarrington aka Burma Shave
Lather: RazoRock Essential Oil of Lime
Post: Alum. Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate
    Aftershave: RazoRock Problem Solver Lime
Summertime shave! Excellent soap, and aftershave. The Schick I1 has become my head razor, I get the smoothest shave, no irritation. I really needed the Baby Smooth this morning after a week of aggressive shaves from the iKon Tech. My Burma Shave brush blows away everything else I have in the stable.
A better tomorrow. Takes your best today!

    SOTD June 20, 2015

Prep: Hot facecloth followed by homemade lavender pre-shave oil
    Soap: Sterling Orange Chill
    Razor: Fendrihan DE
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: Omega Boar Bristle
Aftershave: Hot facecloth followed by Lavender Witch Hazel
    Aftershave balm: Shea butter
    Mustache Wax: Badger

This is the first of several shaves using my new selection of Sterling Soaps...and I am impressed for several reasons: the soap lathered very well, the scent was that of a ripe, sun-kissed orange, the hint of menthol was very nice (I can see using this soap in the warm days of summer)...and best of all...I was able to tolerate the scent! So I can add a new soap to my repertoire. The soap lubricates well and paired with my Fendrihan DE this shave worked like a charm. No nicks or weepers...so no blood was shed!:happy093:
