Just heard about this one - WetshavingNews Podcast. Started this month and they are two episodes in. It's hosted on the Sharpologist's site - @mantic ! Episode 2 features an interview with.....Stirling soap They also have give-aways. You know...free stuff. Homepage on Sharpologist: http://sharpologist.com/series/the-wet-shaving-news Also, this seems to be their RSS feed: http://sharpologist.com/series/the-wet-shaving-news/feed
Btw - episode 1 is just 8 mins and is included in the beginning of ep 2 as it's more of an announcement of the new podcast. I really like the structure here - it's basically a news update on all areas to wetshaving. Good stuff as it is FULL of updates from soap makers, razors, etc, etc - I felt very updated afterwards!
It's hosted on Sharpologist website, Andrew from Wet Shaving News is the host of the show. I really like what Andrew is doing.
i spend a lot of time in my car (listening to podcasts) so I'm excited to see what this can develop into and will support it as well.
I really liked the format - a constant 'news update' of what all the companies in the wetshaving world is up to. The only downside is that I felt I needed a pen and paper to write all that good stuff down lol
I listened to the first episode and really liked it. It's nice to get a little news segment about our little corner of three world. I look forward to more episodes.
It was really interesting to hear Rod talk about the new packaging - how they chose it and what made them go down that road.
Episode 3 got posted yesterday featuring Soap Commander and some other really interesting news. Strong warning: If you take part in NBJ you may not want to listen to this until August http://sharpologist.com/series/the-wet-shaving-news
Fancontroller over on TSR informed about yet another, new podcast: "There's another podcast on the block too, "Cutting Edge Wet Shaving". That's been a lot harder to listen to. It's basically Douglas Smythe and Con Kazantzidas ("Shave The Man" of youtube fame) shooting the breeze about shaving although most of the time I struggle to see where shaving fits in to their conversations. It's a bit like being sat at a barstool between two slightly drunk, talkative Americans (one of whom is Australian) excitedly talking about life, death and burying old razor blades in the rosebush. Not so much cutting edge as a bit dull really. Hopefully it will mature in time as they settle in" Personally not a big fan of "Douglas Smythe" so I'll stay away from that one but it may be of interest to some.
