Thanks for the feedback. Guess I'll just add some M-Bomb to mine if I want to chill it out a little.

Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Shield Face Wash
    Razor: RazoRock Baby Smooth
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue
    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Lather: Martin de Candre
Post: Alum. Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate
    Aftershave: Country Club Southern Oud
Up early. I went to bed very early last night. Had a great shave. The Semogue 1305 lathered up the MdC beautifully. RRBS is the kind of razor that could be used as your daily shaver, mild and efficient. Finished off with CC Southern Oud.
A better tomorrow. Takes your best today!

Another heavenly shave from my Super Speed/Derby combination. The Stirling Barbershop soap delivered great lather and a very soothing, clean post-shave feeling. I really enjoy the Clubman aftershave.

    Hi Friends,

I endet a great shave minutes ago:

    Soap: Figaro Monsieur
Brush: Whipped Dog 24mm High Mountain Badger
Razor: Gillette Tech Head with Jürgen Hempel handle
    Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra
    Aftershave: Tüff sensitiv

Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! This is what i call a great shave!!! The soap is wonderful and the all new Whipped Dog brush is wonderful as well. It creates slick, thick, cushiony lather.

The combination of the Gillette Tech Head and the Jürgen Hempel handle is great. Heavy and very gentle. Just as i love it.

As last i used the last drops of my mentholated Tüff sensitiv Aftershave. Thank god i have a new bottle in my den.

Now i will the Sun here in Germany.

Have a wonderful time, stay healthy and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Sunday:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Stirling Glacial Obsidian
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (6, 7, 8)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS splash
Cologne: Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d' Orange

I took yesterday off from shaving to let the bloodshed heal over, so there was relatively plenty to mow down today. The lather was neither the best I've made with Stirling, nor the worst; it was more than adequate at softening my beard, but could definitely have cushioned better. Day 3 for the Bic still has it chugging along, with only minor weepers from the ATG pass in the mustache area, where I'm most prone to them. DFS+ results, I'd call it.

I am Still Testing my Shaving Soap and Liking It Very Much!

On this sunny Sunday I am still using my shaving soap and I am liking it very much. The more I use it the more it seems to turn out as a super performing shaving soap. I am very happy with my new formula and I will certainly continue testing it for a while. I am also very impressed by this Mastro Livi RWL34 straight razor. It is now three years I bought it and still having the original Mastro Livi honing: it still has a very super cutting and super sharp edge. Absolutely amazing, just another good proof of how this RWL34 stainless steel is incredibly excellent in straight razor making. And it is also the proof of how excellently good is Mastro Livi at making straight razors from this steel. By the way: the day Mastro Livi made this straight razor, I wanted to film the whole process in one of my videos and - by watching it again - I can still remember the very good memories of that incredible day: it was the very first time for me to watch Mastro Livi making a straight razor from a raw steel bar to shave test. Memorable day, unforgettable experience!

Up before the houseguest awake and start in on the non-stop chatter that is their visit. Glad to see the in-laws, but this introvert prefers a little quiet time.

    Prep: hot shower
    Lather: IanS cream
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M horsehair
    Razor: Weber
    Blade: Gillette Nacet Stainless (5)
    Post: Bay Rum

I pushed this blade perhaps 1 day too far this week. Ended up being tuggy and the results should only be considered a SAS - Socially Acceptable Shave - looks good but definitely not smooth everywhere.

Prep: Hot shower, hot facecloth, followed by homemade rose pre-shave oil
    Soap: Sterling Coniferous
    Razor: Gillette Adjustable "Slim"
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: Parker Badger
Aftershave: Hot facecloth followed by Lavender Witch Hazel
    Aftershave balm: Shea butter
    Mustache Wax: Badger

Today my shave transported me back to a time in my childhood....camping in northern Quebec. It all started with the scent of the wild rose pre-shave oil. And when I lathered the Sterling Coniferous my senses were flooded with the smell of the northern boreal forest...it was heavenly. And then to top it off, the scent of the lavender witch hazel was like walking through the woods after a summer rain. This combination was wonderful. The Slim performed like a Ferrari.

I will definitely do this shave again...and when I finish my Coniferous sampler I will order a full size puck (yes, in August). Who knew that shaving could bring a flood of great childhood memories. And to top it off it was a clean 2 pass shave -- 10/10. Enjoy your Sunday! :chores016:

Is the Proraso green scent strong? I know this is a scented soap...I would like to try it but I have to be careful. Does the scent rinse away?

Good shave this morning. I am finding this razor very mild, perhaps to mild. I find myself having to work to hard to achieve the results I want. I will change up the blade tomorrow and see if that improves things. Finished off with Fine L'Orange Noir and I am for a motorcycle ride in the North GA mountains.
