Here on TSD I often see posts about artisan soaps (often small family run enterprises) that are made in the USA....and it occurred to me that I don't often see posts about Canadian-made artisan soaps....and I sure they do exist!

Post quality Canadian-made artisan soaps that you have tried!

that's weird that there are no Canadian artisan soap makers mentioned on here. I know there are a few Canadian shaving soap companies but I don't think they are artisans.

They don't have to be artisan soap makers...Canadian shaving soap companies will do fine...

Isn't Google wonderful...I did a search "Shaving soaps made in Canada" and came up with this list. I am sure there are more, so if you know of any please add them to the list. I have not tried any of these soaps...so I make no promises. Some of them sound interesting (and inexpensive)...so I am going to order a few and give them a whirl...

I did try the Copper Hat Unscented and it was very nice. Lathered easily...Good lubrication. This soap was an easy 10/10 for me.

Got this from the soap works company in Toronto.

    Dear Rob,
we have a number of choices for a great shaving bar.
If you like a moisturizing bar that softens your beard for a closer shave try the Olive Oil or the Emu Oil bar.
If you prefer a slightly antiseptic bar try the Tea Tree or Carbolic soap.
For sensitive skin we suggest either the Goat Milk or the Pure Glycerin bars.
    Hope this helps.
    Best regards,
    Andy

This morning I used my new Fall's Lumberjack shaving soap and Bergamot Vetiver aftershave from Henri et Victoria in Gatineau, Quebec. This artisan is excellent and reasonably-priced as well.

Those bowls look pretty nice, actually. Not sure about the soap, though.
