I don't golf often, but I have never shot over a 93.


Of course I've never played the last 4 holes of any course...

 

Mowed the lawn. Slightly hard work as it was so hot today, but immensely satisfying when I finished.

I did take the high road, when someone was a little out of line. they coulda went off, but I just smiled and let them off the hook.

I should have said I did that also, eleven times(I cut eleven yards today)
then later I said they coulda went off, I should have said, I coulda went off.( sometimes a man should just let it go, even if your in the right. maybe that guy just had a bad day)

 

I ventured out on public transit in 100 degree weather to take a test for a job. It's for a Support Enforcement Agent for the DA's office. I went for this same job about a year ago and was #3 for two openings they had. This time they have only 1 opening and I'm hoping I'm #1.

Coming off the hottest June on record for Seattle and more to come in July, I installed an air conditioner!

...and then promptly told my kids - "the weather was always like this when I was a kid in New York and we never had an air conditioner!"

 

That's because you were still in the ice age back then. And it's nice to know my neighbors to the north are getting the heat as much as we are in Portland.
